weber seal PU 2000 is a two-part high performance polyurethane sealant only available in pourable grade (PG).This grade, level itself to form a smooth and clean surface, when cured it forms a tough, flexible seal that withstand cyclic , expansion and compression movement. weber seal PU 2000 is nearly unaffected by weathering conditions such as rain, snow, UV radiation, ozone and pollution. Its excellent weather ability enables it to retain its original properties after years of exposure.

- All joints surface should be completely dry and free from all traces of dirt, dust, grease, loose particles, mold release agents and loose particles
- Remove dust by compressed air or paint brush. Wipe out oil and grease by solvent soaked cloth (such as xylene, toluene or acetone.) In all cases, a clean bonding surface must be obtained
- Following preparation, place into the base of the joint a bond breaker or back up rod material to form the correct cross section for joint sealant and to prevent the sealant bonding to the base of the joint
- The sides of the prepared joint should be primed with appropriate primer. If application of weber seal 2000 PG is delayed for more than 24 hours after priming, joints should be re-primed
- Avoid application on damp or moist substrate Avoid air entrapment while applying by pressing the puffy knife or flat tool against the sealant surface, moving along the length of the joint. It breaks air bubbles and exposes any air pockets present
